Location: Hanger Lane Salary: Competitive Division: Type: Full-time, Permanent JOB PURPOSE We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Field Technical Team and provide a helpline service to our field interviewers. This specialist team based in Kantar’s Hanger Lane office, offer a range of technical support and advice surrounding laptops, devices and systems. If you have a passion for technology, problem solving and providing a positive experience for users, then this could be the role for you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the best possible level of service is available to the field force Respond to interviewers’ queries on the phone, offering a professional and user-friendly service and ensuring that appropriate action is taken to resolve any issues raised Liaise with IT Support to raise issues affecting field users and information systems Attend meetings to progress issues and objectives and enable good communication Keep up to date and be aware of key surveys, and field requirements Provide a proactive service for other divisions requiring multimedia services Liaise with the hardware support agency (TEK Express) about interviewer hardware problems Set up and despatch laptops for interviewer training classes Ensure that all procedures are followed, and all relevant documentation is completed accurately and filed Undertake 2nd line support and project work as required Helpline cover between 8.00am and 6.pm (shift pattern within these hours) PERSON SPECIFICATION Excellent telephone manner and communication skills Solid problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure Some technical knowledge Attention to detail and the ability to follow systems Strong team working skills
