Accounts Assistant and Book Keeper

JOB OVERVIEW : AAT qualified Accounts Assistant / Book Keeper / Finance Assistant with at least 2 years experience sought by international engineering company. Contract type : 6-9 months fixed term contract on my client's payroll as a PAYE employee. Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and proven track record but as a guide C£23K-£35K pro-rata, plus bonus, pension plus other benefits. Location - West Malling, Maidstone, Kent. THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY As a result of a focus on profitable growth my client seeks an AAT qualified Book Keeper / Accounts Assistance / Finance Assistantwith a minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience in a similar role. Confidentiality, excellent organisations skills and accuracy are important attributes for this position. Good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. Knowledge of Quickbooks would be advantageous. Responsibilities include: • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers • Match purchase orders with invoices • Petty Cash and expenses • Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances • Assist in monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets • Prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns, • Month end support • Credit control • Processing monthly payroll for all PAYE UK employees, including pension payments In return you will be a part of a global enterprise who pride themselves on prioritising the development and advancement of their employees.
