Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Dealership Accountant to join a market leading Dealership Organisation based near Coventry Our Client Sheridan Maine is thrilled to share a fantastic opportunity that is on offer at a market leading Dealership Organisation. In this diverse Business you will be overseeing day to day functions and take a lead on projects in place and planned. The Role As the Dealership Accountant your duties will be to produce management accounts including detailed analysis, preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysis. Duties and Responsibilities - Internal financial controls, processes, procedures and ensuring that the region/business adheres to standards for monitoring and controlling costs and revenue analysis. - Production of monthly management accounts - Variance Analysis - Analysing financial performance - contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts - Budgeting and forecasting - Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash - Annual Audit pack presentation and liaison Person specification The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed with ambition to help the business grow in the future. Requirements include; - Fully Qualified (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) (the client may consider Qualified by experience QBE - The candidate should ideally come from an Automotive/Dealership background - Excellent communication skills and people management skills - Excellent IT skills with Advanced excel knowledge - The ability to influence management What is on offer?
