Overview

Job Description To provide a caretaking service. Requirements Building security Preparing rooms/areas for use by groups. Monitoring, reporting on and carrying out cleaning/maintenance duties. Ensuring that Health and Safety standards are complied with. Undertaking general duties. The Individual Experience of care and maintenance of property and cleaning Ability to record information accurately Numerate Aptitude for tidiness Attention to detail Flexible approach to work Ability to prioritise tasks/action Ability to follow routines and instructions Ability to work unsupervised Able to carry out handyman/basic maintenance duties Active listening and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with members of the public and staff Willingness to accept direction/delegation Ability to move furniture and equipment in conjunction with moving and handling regulations Ability to bend and stretch for wet and dry cleaning Must be flexible to meet the needs/demands of the service Closing Date: 15 May 2020 Starting Salary: £14641.64 (Pro-rata) £7.61 per hour, Various hour per week (The Council has implemented the living wage, therefor the actual hourly rate will be £9.07) For further information contact the Facilities Team: Neil Munro - 01343 557084 Susan Urquhart - 01343 557085
