Network Engineer | Runcorn | Up to £42,000 | Permanent Your new role As a Network Engineer you will manage and monitor the infrastructure network, maintaining connectivity and best practice. Having a hands on-approach, you will design and implement infrastructure upgrades and integrations. You will monitor the global connectivity, monitoring LAN//WAN/VLAN infrastructures; procure new technologies and coordinate satellite site activities. Working with various project teams you will create and execute projects, whilst considering all stakeholder needs. What you need to succeed A degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent of work experience in a Network Engineering role. CCNP or CCDA certification will ensure you hit the ground running. Must have strong working knowledge of configuring, implementing and monitoring network technologies, supporting core networking devices; ideally CISCO. Proficient in switches, routers, firewalls, network appliances etc. What you'll get in return A desirable salary of up to £42,000 (DOE), a desirable benefits package including pension, holidays and progression.
