Your Community needs you, join our team North London Teams which includes - Brent, Edgware, Harrow and Hackney Currently hourly rate - £9.20 /hour Covid-19 response Help your community - join our team of bank of Care and Support Workers Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are urgently recruiting relief bank Care and Support Workers. This is to help older people and people with disabilities living in your community. This is a 'key worker’ role, is extremely rewarding and is your opportunity to make a real difference. Considering, the current restrictions, this rolling campaign will start as soon as possible and continue until all roles are filled. This comprises of a telephone screening and successful applicants will be invited to attend a structured interview with the appointing manager via SKYPE or ZOOM. About the Role This is a flexible role for Care and Support Workers to join our bank in North London to work in our supported living schemes. Here we provide a service to our customers 24/7 so this can include day or night work, as and when required. While weekly hours are not guaranteed, we can offer you the flexibility to fit with your circumstances. As we have a range of services in this area there are opportunities for consistent hours. In this area, we run supported living services for the following customer groups: -Older people -People with Learning Disabilities -People suffering mental ill health Responsibilities can include, but not be limited to: -Personal care, such as washing and dressing -Day to day living activities, such as food preparation and shopping -Supporting customers with managing their finances -Medication Why work for us? -Currently £9.20 per hour, but reviewed annually -Flexible hours to suit you -Full-time or part-time hours -Free comprehensive training -Free DBS -Supportive and passionate management team What you’ll need to succeed While some experience in care and support is desirable it is not essential. What you do require is a passion to deliver an excellent service to vulnerable adults in a dignified manner.
