Role: Costs Paralegal Location: Liverpool Salary: Dependant on experience Do you have a passion for Law? Are you looking to get into your first legal role? My client is looking to recruit a Costs Paralegal to join their Costs Department in the Liverpool office. The Firm My client is the leading provider of claims-related services to insurers, businesses and other suppliers to the insurance sector. The Role Follow up on outstanding instructions, documents and other actions to ensure that responses are received within required timescales. To ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2011. Update VF with file allocations, diary records, court applications and general activity to ensure accurate recording of activity and allow progress tracking. Make payment requests using the appropriate payment request process for the client and chase to ensure payments are received and dispatched within required deadlines Diarising and updated CRU The Candidate Following a semi-prescribed programme of work Dealing with calls and enquiries from customers, suppliers and/or the public Able to work under own initiative, prioritising and organising own workload Proficient in MS Office (notably Excel, Word and Outlook) Experience of using a Claims/Case Management system.
