Overview
Do you have some spare time available to help the people in need in your community? Dean Healthcare are currently recruiting for experienced Support Workers to join our growing team. As a Support Worker, you will be attending supported living establishments as well as residential homes. You may be working on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis with service users, as well as within a team. You will need to be confident in your ability to support those with learning difficulties, mental health conditions and some physical disabilities. This role is highly rewarding and allows for growth and development in the industry. Working as an agency worker means you gain lots of experience within a short amount of time. You will be making clear differences to people's lives, supporting with daily activities, personal care and helping services users to engage socially, using the local services around them. Promoting independence and empowerment is the key to being a Support Worker. Requirements: · Minimum of 6-9 months experience within a similar setting · Evidence of the right to work in the UK · Competent with all aspects of care and support, such as moving and handling and personal care · All positions offered are subject to satisfactory references and DBS check What are the benefits?
