Section Engineer - Major civil engineering project
Overview
Our client, a large civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint a Section Engineer to supervise engineering on a significant section of a major Civil Engineering project in London. Suitable candidates will have prior experience working as a Site Engineer, ideally on a large project with a Tier 1 contractor. Tremendous scope for future career development on a project where you can have significant input to its success as part of an integrated team. Key duties associated with the Section Engineer include: Ensure the works are constructed according to contract drawings, specifications and project plan Produce and review construction method statements & risk assessments Assist in the management of costs & budgets Monitoring progress and reporting & setting goals Anticipating and resolving problems as and when required & resolve engineering queries with design consultants Manage construction records and as-builts Supervision and mentoring of Site Engineers We are an independent recruitment company that prides itself on our personal touch and our availability.
