Legal Costs Draftsperson Haywards Heath Up to £40,000 Full time, permanent Hunters’ client, one of the UK’s leading providers of insurance and legal services are looking for a Law Costs Draftsperson to join their ethical and customer-focussed team in Haywards Heath. Duties of the Legal Costs Draftsperson will include: • Drafting of bills of costs (Electronic & Paper) • Preparing Precedent H Budgets • Dealing with Part 8 matters • Dealing with Fixed Costs Disputes • Drafting Estimates of Costs • Preparing Points of Dispute/Replies • Negotiating costs generally with own case load • Taking files to Provisional/Detailed Assessment • Preparing N260 Costs Schedules • Attending hearings including Detailed Assessments and CCMC The Legal Costs Draftsman will have: • Experience as a Costs Draftsperson/Costs Lawyer • Excellent knowledge of CPR and case law • Track record of dealing with high value multi-track cases • Ability to deal with third party solicitors and insurers on a day-to-day basis The benefits of the Legal Costs Draftsman: Medicash Flexible Working (dependant on the role requirements) Pension Scheme Death in Service
