There has never been a better time to join us What to know about this role? Atlanta has one of UK's leading Real Time Pricing teams and has maximised the usage potential of CDL. We are looking to replicate that success at Swinton and looking for a Real Time Pricing Developer (Java Developer) Your key responsibilities are: Development and maintenance of the Group's Real time pricing rules/assets. To ensure all application development platforms are robust and secure, with source code protected at all times. To ensure that all code is reviewed / tested for known vulnerabilities and complies with relevant regulations and team adopted practices/policies before being deployed into production. To utilise robust / modern software development lifecycle toolsets and methods of delivery, as well as test automation. Participate in the definition of new developments and assist in the estimation of resource required to deliver solutions meeting these designs. Progressively deliver functioning solutions to project stakeholders via an agile planning and iterative delivery approach. Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on Industry developments & innovations. Encourage, support and coach other team members in their own development. Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback. Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality. Who do you report into? You will report into the Real Time Pricing Manager of Atlanta Group who has teams across Autonet & Swinton. They have 9 years experience in the business (5 of them in systems) and have progressed from contact centre to leading the Real Time Pricing teams at Group level. The teams is formed by 9 other colleagues who are a mix of Developers and analysts who work together to ensure meet our business needs. What projects will you be working on? Pricing Optimisation: We are implementing a pricing software called Radar and you will be coding to integrate enhanced pricing models. Automation of Live Rules knowledge: We have a "list" of live rules that is ever changing and constantly needs to be updated, you will automate the list and communicate this to other business areas. Business As Usual: You will rapidly react to changes in our business and code approximately 10 rule changes a week What skills & experience do you require? Previous material experience as a developer using Java or relevant academic qualification(s) Good understanding of Microsoft Office especially Excel Experience using DROOLS is desirable Who are your key relationships?
