Book Keeper

Book Keeper Part Time Permanent, £12,480 - £15,600 dependant on experience Andover 1-1Recruitment have an opportunity for an experienced Book Keeper to join a fast paced, exciting family run company. This is a part time role, hours can be flexible for the correct candidate but you will be required to work 20 hours per week. The main purpose of the Book Keeper is to support with the day to day running of the account department. Main Responsibilities of the Book Keeper; ·Manage the accounting function of the business using Sage 200 ·Process all purchase invoices ·Process all supplier payments ·Reconcile supplier statements ·Process all customer receipts ·Daily and month bank reconciliations ·Checking figures and reporting for accuracy reporting any irregularities in data to directors. ·Calculate & submit monthly intrastat returns ·Calculating monthly distribution figures ·Amend customer and suppliers details ·Control of WEE and other regulated data submissions alongside the Managing Director ·Comparisons (Calculating year on year figures/comparison of previous accounting periods) helping to improve analysis ·Margin investigations and analysis ·Any adhoc duties as required Experience; ·Experience in a similar role ·Experience of sage 200 ·Self-motivated with the desire to learn and support with more duties ·Flexibility with working duties ·Excellent communication skills ·Excellent customer service Benefits; ·An enjoyable working atmosphere ·Parking on site ·20 days holiday plus bank holidays ·The opportunity to learn and take on more duties ·Pension schemes For more information please contact Amy Goddard in our Basingstoke Office 1-1 Recruitment is one of the leading recruitment agencies for jobs in Basingstoke for permanent, temporary and contract recruitment solutions.
