Overview
We are searching for a Prince 2 qualified project manager who has exposure to the automotive industry. This project manager role is a 12 month fixed term contract looking after delivery, transformation and implementation initiatives over the next 12 months. Key duties for the role will be Defining Planning Delivery/Implementation Change/risks/issues management and reporting Very strong key Stakeholder reporting Both roles will require an understanding of automotive operational processes, how cars are built i.e. parts coming in from various sources - abroad/UK manufacturers etc and picked and stored in sequencing order of how a car is built in terms of slots on the production line etc. You must have a strong understanding of automotive (or aviation failing that) and a detailed knowledge of operational automotive processes i.e. sequencing, kitting, how cars are built. Core project management skills, project planning/tracking and stakeholder management. The day rate is competitive, free parking and lots of other benefits you will be entitled to as a PAYE contractor.
