Care Assistant / Support Worker

Newcross Healthcare is searching for seasoned and skilled Care Assistants and Support Workers to deliver expert care and assistance to our residents in a variety of exceptional nursing, residential and specialist care homes across Pembroke, Haverfordwest and the surrounding locations. As a Care Assistant, you'll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of the people in our care. This role is a chance to have real responsibility and enjoy the variety that each day brings. Your duties will vary, including anything from assisting residents with their food and drink, following care plans and getting them involved in social activities. As a Support Worker, your day-to-day role will involve assisting service users with their daily activities, helping with clinical requirements and ensuring that they have an opportunity to socialise. It'll be your responsibility to maintain their dignity and independence. Requirements of the role You'll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with a minimum of 3 months of experience, a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. You'll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. You will need a smart device with internet access to pick up shifts and submit timesheets via our app, HealthForceGo. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required.
