Overview
A fantastic and exciting business, five minutes out from Sheffield Centre are looking for a dynamic and proactive Assistant Accountant to join their growing business. As the Assistant Accountant you will report directly in to the Finance Manager supporting with the day to day duties within the finance function. Your duties will include but not limited to - Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team Management of daily banking and reconciliation Monthly sales reporting Cash flow forecasts Assisting with the preparation of management accounts Assisting with month end procedures Assisting with budgets Completing bank reconciliations Entering financial information into appropriate software programs Managing company ledgers Processing business expenses Coordinating internal and external audits Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable Completing the year-end analysis Experience required IT Literate including excel - essential A proactive and motivated attitude A logical thinker with the drive to learn and develop AAT studier/ Part qualified CIMA or ACCA Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
