Job Description We are looking for Physiotherapists to join our Bank for weekend shifts within the inpatients department at The Princess Grace Hospital. To provide expert assessment, management and education for all inpatients requiring physiotherapy at The Princess grace hospital, utilising evidence-based practice. Duties & Responsibilities Duties will be as follows, but not limited to: To undertake a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment of the individual patient including those with multi-pathological presentations; to gain relevant information from the subjective and objective clinical examination; to apply advanced clinical reasoning skills; to formulate a clinical diagnosis of their condition; set therapeutic/rehabilitation goals and objectives To formulate and deliver an individual treatment programme based on specialist knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical skills To regularly re-evaluate and re-assess patient progress and update treatment programmes as required Refer patients to other services as required Attendance on ward rounds and MDT meetings as required To be responsible for prioritisation of own clinical and non-clinical case-load, including provision of annual leave, sick leave etc. To maintain accurate up-to-date patient records which comply with departmental and CSP standards Skills & Experience Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent Health and Care Professions Council Physiotherapy registration Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists or equivalent is desirable Significant experience in either orthopaedics, medical, respiratory or surgical conditions Experience in oncology is beneficial
