Overview

Credit Control Assistant Purpose of the role To become an integral part of the Credit Control team primarily supporting the Loyalty division, providing accurate and timely financial information for management purposes. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role may include: The billing for Collinson Group clients on a weekly/monthly basis and the payments of the merchants and clients Chargeback processes. Reconciling the balance sheet, preparation of standard bi-monthly reconciliations, processing declarations on a monthly basis and running system reconciliations, investigating reconciling issues through to resolution where applicable. Be a key point of contact for queries from outside of the immediate finance team Maintain and monitor reconciliations for systems feeds into the finance system Work with the Finance Operations team to ensure all transactions processed are accurate and complete Ensure robust controls are maintained and potential weaknesses identified and raised Strive to identify and deliver process improvements Adhoc reconciliations for other products. Liaise with internal and external partners and stakeholders Any other reasonable tasks to help support the smooth running of the department The above to be carried out in accordance with documented company procedures Knowledge, skills and experience required Studying towards an Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT or Equivalent) Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels within an organisation MS Office skills, especially Excel Good knowledge of accounting systems High personal levels of motivation and delivery orientated focus. Understanding and/or interest in Loyalty businesses A proactive, forward looking mindset Attention to detail Good organisation and planning skills Being able to work as part of a team but also capable of working on own initiative
