Overview

Job Title : Lettings Finance Assistant Salary : Up to £31,000pa Location : Wimbledon We're looking to recruit a Lettings Finance Assistant who will be providing support to the Lettings Branches in line with company business objectives. You will also actively be contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the department by providing support to the team and customers in all aspects of the day to day business operations. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for a portfolio of lettings branches who have agreed terms of business with our client landlords The deregistration of deposits for terminated tenancies of non-managed properties on the TDS website Process card payments and advise the relative person that a payment has been taken Key supplier invoices received for Check In charges Key recoverable charges to the accounting system when prompted Accurately update landlords details with tax approval information and attaching the approval to the landlords record To accurately act on instructions from front office or Property Management when processing payments of deposit returns to outgoing tenants Managing general client, tenant and branch queries and where necessary liaising with the respective team members to establish accurate information Importing new tenancy details onto our account system and liaising with front office branches where criteria has not been met to enable completion of this process To regularly check the internal coordinator system, each day and respond to the queries generated (in house training will be provided for this process) To input data onto the in-house database system Liaising with landlords, tenants and tenant guarantors verbally and in writing, where rent arrears exist and securing settlement as soon as possible Responsible for keeping the level of outstanding rent to a minimum which will be monitored with regular meetings with hierarchy Maintaining the system to ensure accurate details are kept in compliance with the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme Bank cheques at the local bank as and when necessary Production of standard correspondence to landlords and tenants Responsible for running timely audits on the landlord records to catch any overseas landlords who have not been marked as overseas Produce and proof Income and Expenditure reports as and when requested by landlords To provide effective cover support for staff members whilst they are away from the office Responding to all queries by voicemail and email in an efficient and timely manner To answer main line telephone calls, fielding and directing calls as appropriate to team members All filing of work processed to be completed in a timely and efficient manner Any other adhoc general duties as required from time to time Experience, Skills and Attributes Required: Excellent organisational skills and methodical approach IT Literate - database system, word, excel (vlookup and pivot tables preferable) Reliable and punctual Customer focus Experience and knowledge in a similar role Lettings Property market experience and knowledge Highly developed and confident communication skills Enthusiastic and positive Proactive and adaptable Eager to learn and develop Team player Credit Control Experience If you have the right skills and experience for this role then please apply today.
