Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK's leading Food manufacturers based in Norfolk. We need a pro-active and forward thinking Multi Skilled / Maintenance Engineer to perform Electrical and Mechanical day to day planned maintenance and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for: Diagnosing Electrical and Mechanical faults and carrying out maintenance work Working with a planned preventative maintenance schedule Proposing ideas for continuous improvements with lean manufacturing techniques Liaising with colleagues, managers and other departments to control maintenance tools, stores and other equipment required to carry out maintenance Involvement in project work when required PLC Fault finding Candidate The Maintenance Engineer will be electrical bias with skills in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. Coming from a food or FMCG background will be highly advantageous for the maintenance position.
