SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER GLOBAL FOOD MANUFACTURING BUSINESS £35,000- £40,000 Excellent Benefits We are working with a global Manufacturing business who produce specialist nutrition based consumer products into Blue Chip customers around the world. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a progressive and forward thinking business. The Role Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Planner will be a senior member of the planning team. You will ensure optimization of medium term production plans within agreed capacity, while minimising overall stock holding and expired/obsolete stock write off. Construction of medium term production plan within agreed parameters, including capacity, safety stocks and material availability. Maintain optimum balance between manufacturing efficiency and inventory levels in order to deliver availability targets Working with key stakeholders Production scheduler, Quality, Logistics and deployment to minimise impact of production and supply issues. KPIs Schedule adherence, OE, changes to plan Continuous Improvement mind-set Continuous Review and implementation of improvement of Supply Chain processes to ensure fit for future organisation growth. Identifying capacity and SAP strategies The Person The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organised and looking to take on the responsibility of a senior planner within the Planning team. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Key criteria to be consider for the role will be as follows; 3 years experience working in a relevant supply chain/ Production Planning position MUST have worked in a high volume/ fast paced manufacturing environments Strong IT capabilities (Excel in particular) Previous use of MRP/ ERP systems Excellent communicator The Company A high profile Manufacturer of Nutritional consumer based products who are going through a significant period of growth.
