If so, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer on a permanent basis for a company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture heavy duty mechanical equipment for highly regulated sectors Quality Engineer Essential Requirements / Experience: Must be a skilled Quality professional that has a minimum of 2/ 3 years’ experience in a quality engineering position Must have an engineering / manufacturing background in a highly regulated environment Must be experienced in auditing We are looking for a real people’s person that will fit into the team quickly and can communicate effectively at all levels Quality Engineer Salary Package Competitive annual salary per annum - £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Pension Scheme 35 days Holiday including Bank Holidays Based near Workington, Salterback and Seaton Quality Engineer The Role We are looking for a well-seasoned Quality Engineer that is going to join the growing quality department using there strong problem solving skills to contribute to continuous improvement activities on processes across the board. Conduct internal audits on a variety of processes/procedures/QMS(s), creating user guides on processes and process mapping The successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for working with a strategic, practical and pragmatic approach to continuously improve manufacturing and production processes Making improvements to our quality management system and procedures (ISO 9001) Measuring, analysing and improvement, providing analysis on of internal and external issues Report metrics, investigations and 5Y exercises including capturing the costs of rework, scrap, NCRs, special freight, warranty and cost of sales If you are an experienced Quality Engineer with an engineering / manufacturing background within a highly regulated environment and looking for a challenging permanent opportunity for a global leader in their field, please apply now.
