Overview
Software Engineer, scientific projects in C++ and Python software development. You will be a Mid/Senior Software Engineer joining a very successful and growing Cambridge technology company. You will liaise with customers and take ownership of projects as well as working in a team to deliver bespoke solutions, written largely in Python as well as C++ for Linux, Windows and Mac. Key skills for the Software Engineer: Commercial software development experience Very good knowledge of C++ Some experience with Python Ability to assess customers needs and deliver tailored solutions Good understanding of software development processes Interest in scientific problem solving Other beneficial skills would include, experience with Qt, experience with source code control, automated builds environments, database technologies and cross platform development.
