Overview

We are a large NHS Mental Health Trust in South East England and are looking for people to help us provide high quality services for the patients, carers and local communities that we serve. We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us to do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to Sussex Partnership. Sussex Partnership is an equal opportunities employer, with a sincere commitment to our people’s health and emotional wellbeing and as such, we have signed the Time to Change pledge and provide a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme. In addition, our workforce is currently under-represented by people from Black and Minority Ethnic and Disabled communities. We welcome applications from people of these communities as we want our workforce to reflect the communities we serve. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated our services good, following their most recent inspection, and outstanding in the caring domain. Are you passionate about helping others? Do you thrive off innovation, challenges and exciting opportunities? If so, we are looking for new Health Care Assistants to join the trusts bank. These posts are ideal for those who really want to consider a career in caring. Qualifications and experience are not necessary but compassion, sensitivity and warmth are most definitely essential. Becoming part of the bank team will enable you to work a 0 hours contract and pick up shifts on different teams within the hospital and the trust. We provide mental health and learning disability services to adults, children and young people across East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, and children's services in Hampshire. We have been awarded an overall rating of ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and assessed ‘outstanding’ for being caring. As a Trust we make a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives across Sussex and Hampshire, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives. We believe that staff who feel valued by the Trust and are truly engaged in the organisation deliver better outcomes for our patients and we are always looking for people with the right core values to join our team. Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust takes its responsibilities for the safeguarding and protection of children and young people and vulnerable adults very seriously and expects this of all its employees and bank workers. The Trust works with adult and children’s social care to ensure that the integrated service has systems in place to equip staff and bank workers with the knowledge and skills to recognise abuse, and take action to safeguard and protect vulnerable adults and children and young people. Successful candidates are normally offered salaries at the bottom of the relevant salary range.
