Overview
No experience is needed to earn up to £9.47 per hour as a Parcel Sorter at our client's busy distribution centre, for one of the UK's largest parcel delivery companies. Staffline is recruiting for a Parcel Sorter to work in Rugby. The rate of pay is: £8.72 per hour for day shifts £9.12 per hour for night shifts £9.47 per hour for Sundays This is a full-time role and you will work in a shift pattern of 3 on, and 3 off. The hours of work are: 6am to 2pm 2pm to 10pm 10pm to 6am Your time at work As a Parcel Sorter for this site, you will read labels and postcodes on parcels, place them on to the conveyors and ensure that the barcode/label is readable by the sorting machines and scanners. You will also load and unload parcels and complete other general warehouse duties as required. This is a physically active role which involves standing for long periods and lifting parcels that can weigh up to 20kg. You should have a good understanding of the English language, written and verbal, in order to communicate with others and to read the postcodes and labels on parcels. You should be self-motivated and work well as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
