Overview
Assistant Accountant job. Guildford. Up to £35000. Your new company This is an exciting opportunity to work for an innovative and vibrant company as their Assistant Accountant in their modern Guildford offices. Your new role As assistant accountant you will be involved in a large variety of tasks from sales ledger and purchase ledger to management accounts and payroll. You will be responsible for cashflow forecasting/budgeting, VAT returns, bank reconciliations and assisting in preparing annual accounts. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of accruals, prepayments, payroll and VAT. Sage 50 would be helpful to have. You will have excellent organisational skills and communication skills. Ability to problem solve and use own initiative.
