Ashley Grey Executive Search are delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join an experienced and long-established accountancy practice based in the East Sussex area, who are passionate about professional development. Do you have payroll experience? Do you have good knowledge of PAYE system? Do you have experience of Auto-Enrolment? Are you able to organise workload, prioritise and multitask? This could be the role for you Working as part of the payroll team your role will be to ensure that payrolls are completed accurately and according to set deadlines. Processing a high level of weekly, bi-weekly, four weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish, manage the Auto Enrolment process and client Pension Schemes. Working as part of a team you will adhere to strict deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy, whilst working under pressure. This is a varied and interesting role in which you will not only be the point of contact for assisting clients with their enquiries but will also have the ability to work independently and be able to manage / plan work in accordance with scheduled and unscheduled deadlines. Previous experience of working in payroll is essential as is knowledge of current payroll techniques. Prior experience in using EARNIE is desirable or proficient in other mainstream Payroll software will be considered. You will have the knowledge to manually calculate PAYE tax and NIC and be competent in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
