Health, Safety & Environmental Technician - NEBOSH - £25k - £28k, BUPA, 15% Pension, 25 day holiday (increases each year up to 30 days), Dental & more - Junior / Intermediate role for someone with strong academic background / a few years commercial experience - Middlesbrough Overview: Every now and again we get a role in that really is outstanding and - WOW - is this one In a newly created role, we are looking for a junior / intermediate HSE professional who is looking to really forge a career in Health, Safety & Environmental. This is working for a hugely established yet rapidly growing organisation who are the UK leaders in their market where I can give you countless examples of people who have gone in at this level and are now managers or seniors in their field. So if you've just left college / University or if you have a few years' commercial experience, but are looking for a proper company and career, I'd love to hear from you. All you need is a NEBOSH general certificate and ideally a member of IOSH or working towards that. The Role: The role is a hugely varied role where you will be working with the established HSE team on site, essentially supporting the HSE Manager. The role is based on 2 sites (literally a mile apart) so you will be splitting your time between the 2 and there are a lot of contractors on this site, so keeping a high level of Health & Safety is paramount. If anything though, a lot of it is relationship building with the different contractors and professionals on site. We want the HSE rules to be adhered too (obviously), but we want this done in the right way where you can build relationships and get their respect. The Person: We are open to the person in this role. You MUST have a NEBOSH General Certificate and, ideally, a member or IOSH or working towards it. But we are open if you have no commercial experience, but a decent academic background. Or maybe a year or 2 hands on, but want a real career and opportunities. We are open to your sector experience as well - this is a pretty niche sector and full training will be given. Oh, and a driven personality who is really looking to grasp the opportunity to develop their career is a must too The Company: This is working for a company who have an outstanding track record on developing and training their staff and promoting from within - I can give you countless examples of this when we speak. They are the UK leaders in their field with some outstanding growth plans, so this is the best time to get in. What next? If this seems like an opportunity that appeals, send your CV through and I will be more than happy to go through this in more detail. Look forward to hearing your story…
