Top 20 Firm - Chester City Centre - Bookkeeper - Up to £25k (DOE) with benefits Your new firm You will be joining a Top 20 firm of accountants based in the heart of Chester city centre. This general practice offer a range of services to their extensive client base inclusive of Accounts preparation, Tax, Bookkeeping and Audit and they are now looking to develop their bookkeeping offering by bringing in an additional team member. Your new role In this job you will be working with a portfolio of clients providing weekly, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services. This includes keeping on top of the records, maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, liaising with clients and preparing VAT returns. This role will be focused towards bookkeeping however you may also be required to prepare accounts to trial balance. What you'll need to succeed The partners are seeking an individual that has prior experience working as a bookkeeper in a practice environment. You will need to be able to work efficiently and be organised to ensure you are able to meet multiple deadlines. As this is a client facing role you will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
