Overview
Do you want to work with a world reputed & prestigious beverage brand? My Client are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity. The role of Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing and driving continuous improvement in Quality Control and for collaborating on HACCP Food Safety Programmes (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point). You will in collaboration with HACCP team members to ensure HACCP Food Safety Programmes are in place. This will include carrying out internal audits relating to production hygiene and food safety, manage the Food Safety Management System, manage and monitor the intake of goods from suppliers to ensure food safety and to updated quality records. The Quality Control Manager will work to critical deadlines and timescales in regards to creating accurate results on when to harvest at the most optimum time. It will involve maturity sampling in advance of harvest and conducting numerous analysis work on things such as PH levels, titratable acidity, daily fermentation checks, bacteria culture monitoring and further. Your role will have a strong focus on ensuring an accurate and auditable Quality Programme in regards to both hard and soft records of all data and work undertaken. You will ensure all MSDS & COSHH forms for chemicals used are present and filed within the laboratory. This role has broader responsibilities and this wonderful organisation are looking to have a long handover period with the existing Quality Control Manager who will be going on maternity leave.
