Circle Birmingham Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the Midlands, has an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join the Theatre and Endoscopy Team. Role & Responsibilities: As a Theatre Healthcare Assistant you will report to the Theatre Lead and will be supporting the clinical team in the following duties: To prepare the operating theatre/endoscopy suite daily ready for use. Daily checking of stocks within operating rooms and endoscopy Chaperoning of patients to theatre/endoscopy. To ensure that patients are helped to retain their dignity and individuality. To provide support and assistance during surgical and endoscopy procedures. To communicate positively and tactfully with the theatre team, patients, their relatives, carers and visitors. To accurately record data, maintaining patient confidentiality following Circle policies and procedures Person Specification: Good communication skills, both written & verbal, with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness at all levels. Ability to be flexible in their approach to work and working patterns. Ability to learn new skills and follow procedures. Ability to prioritise workload, instruct & direct others.
