Support Workers - Mental Health Part-time hours -19.5 hours per week to cover various shifts which includes either Days or Nights. £8.21 per hour Based in Bideford, Devon EX39 4PP Deepdene Care was established in 1987 and is a national mental healthcare provider operating five homes nationwide, offering high quality care to people with severe and enduring mental health needs. We currently have exciting opportunities for reliable, experienced individuals with a friendly and caring nature to work as a support workers in Bideford, Devon. · NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred but not essential · Experience of supporting adults with challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential as in-house training is provided. Duties will include engaging & supporting clients in activities of daily living, meal provision & medication prompting & taking care of client's wellbeing. A responsible and caring attitude is important. You will work in friendly but sometimes challenging environments, therefore excellent interaction and communication skills are essential.
