The job As Savoury Formulations Technologist, you will be responsible for developing products that are produced safely, legally and are of the quality claimed plus oversee and provide support to other members of staff in the team. You will formulate and develop savoury recipes in line with customer requests, develop applications samples, keep detailed records or recipes and applications, manage all the required steps from bench development through to full scale production, provide R&D support to customers plus identify current flavour and taste trends, sharing this knowledge with colleagues to aid future developments. Your experience To be considered for the Savoury Formulations Technologist job, you will ideally be degree educated in a food science / technology or related discipline and possess solid food product development within savoury products. You will have knowledge of savoury seasonings or ingredient e.g. pie fillings, gravy glazes or similar. You will have good project management skills, be highly organised and have a passion for food and product development.
