Indirect Sourcing Specialist

The Sourcing Specialist supports the Unit Sourcing Manager in executing sourcing plans for a specific unit working closely together with local operations. He/she identifies local sourcing opportunities, manages supplier tenders, acts as contract owner for selected suppliers and manages related supplier relationships. He/she also supports individual customer projects with their specific needs and supports finding the optimal supplier set-up for these projects We have a great opportunity for an Indirect Sourcing Specialist to • Collect business requirements from the Front Line (FL) to support sourcing projects for indirect spend • Support the implementation of area/global level category plans and sourcing projects in a FL through additional local contract negotiations as needed • Update local instructions and policies, provides guidance and supports business in following/using preferred suppliers and ensuring compliance.
