CMM Programmer / Operator

We are recruiting for an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to work in a busy Engineering Department for an established client. The Job Role To support the Quality Manager, Quality Department and Engineering Department in all Quality requirements and needs. Conduct Programming and measurement activitie on CMM machines in line with the needs of the business Co-ordintate maintenance and upkeep iof the CMM machines in line with their scheduled requirements. Conduct regular calibration activities on measuring equipment and checking fixtures using both measurement and photographic evidence to control the calibration facility. Produce gauge Instructions for New Projects/Jobs/Components as required prior to introduction to Production. Collate and arrange, where appropriate, for Gauging to be sent for external Calibration and Verification and to monitor prompt and safe return and compliance with pre-determined specification. To adhere to all Quality Systems operating within the Company. Participate in, and adopt a pro-active role, in all Quality related activities within the Quality Department. Hours of work a- 08.00 – 17.00 Mon – Thurs 08.00 – 13.00 Fri Salary £23,000 depending on experience Experience / Requirements CMM machine Operator / Programming experience. Computer Literate Good Background knowledge of Quality Systems & Procedures Good Problem Solving abilities Good communicator, verbal and written and able to express thoughts clearly and concisely.
