Line Leader
Overview
We have an opportunity within our Coding Line Department for a Line Leader The role is working: Sunday to Monday 07.45 – 16.00 & Tuesday to Thursday 13.45 – 22.00 To maintain high standards and help deliver the Logistics service to all internal and external customers. To maintain and operate systems and procedures to meet the current departmental needs. . An overview of the role is detailed below: · Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP within all areas · To report/highlight any machinery or product related issues · Acting as a role model for all agreed people management practices · Managing, guiding and coaching direct reports whilst demonstrating best practice at all times · Building effective relationships · Responsibility for all CCP’s in designated areas · Completion of paperwork and checks with no errors · Promptly communicating problems to Team Leader/Supervisor · Provide 1 st Line supervisory to the line and employees · Responsible for 1 st Line Maintenance of equipment in the designated area · Any other adhoc tasks requested by management · Acting as a role model whilst demonstrating best practice at all times · Building effective relationships · To complete all reasonable requests in line with instructions given · To palletise and de-palletise before and after products have been coded · Ensure all product is coded with the correct Best Before dates Ideally candidates will have worked within a similar role with the ability to work as part of a team. Candidates should have good communication skills with the ability to problem solve as well as working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Food production experience is preferred however not essential.
