Overview
IT Deployment Engineer Location: Required to travel to Enniskillen and Londonderry Pay: £13 per hour (Umbrella Rate) OR £10.56 per hour (PAYE Rate) Days: Ad-hoc Work (9:30am - 17:30pm) Job Overview: A leading provider of IT services and solutions are currently looking for a Deployment Engineer to join their expanding team at their locations in Enniskillen and Londonderry. The successful engineer will take part in providing basic desktop support, offering simple fixes and fixing known errors. You will be hardware skilled to provide desktop, laptop/printer break-fix support and provide software installations and configuration in an existing desktop infrastructure or pre-designed project and will be familiar with current Microsoft desktop Operating Systems. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all packaging is removed from the new equipment Remove old equipment from the desk, including keyboard, mouse and monitor (unless requested to retain old monitor to act as a second monitor) and place in an area identified by Site Contact Remove the Mini-PC from back of monitor and record the serial and asset details Re-install the Mini-PC into the monitor, deploy onto the desk and connect the LAN cable Turn on the device and ensure the LAN connects. And follow the Customer Instructions effectively and efficiently to deploy devices to desks and return required asset documentation in a timely manner.
