Middleware Software and Open Architecture Software Developer My client, a world-renowned Industry Sector company, are looking for a Middleware Software Developer to join the New Malden based team. You will be working within an established team of professionals who will all have a similar skill set and background to yourself, so you will be able to interact with like-minded individuals on a daily basis. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for the upgrade and maintenance of the key Middleware Software that underpins the performance, availability, and integrity of Combat Management Systems. You will also be responsible for developing new Open Architecture interfaces within Combat Management Systems to allow interfacing to external combat system equipment and suppliers of capability through open standards. Software Developer Key Requirements: Design software to ensure that the overall system will behave according to its requirements. Write software according to coding standards and maintain existing software by investigating issues and identifying solutions. Write software test schedules and use them to test the system. Document appropriate information, so that others can understand the software and the system Contribute to process improvement within the team to ensure that the team always looks to improve how it works. Liaise with other team members, teams and customers to ensure key information is understood. Your skills and qualifications: Software Design Programming: High level languages such as Ada, C++, C Software Integration & testing Experience of either Middleware or Open Architecture (DDS) technologies would be desirable.
