Overview

A Radio Frequency Planning Engineer with technical background in Mobile Radio Networks to work within a large team to produce experienced on RF Planning & optimisation designs to support 2G 3G 4G & 5G. Must have experience in Asset, Atoll, Planning tool and Prediction. To produce RF Planning designs to support 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G Platforms Familiar with RF planning & optimization delivery process Familiar with Huawei tools (U2000, PRS, OMSTAR, P&A) Skilled in RF troubleshooting/optimization Skilled in drive test analysis Skilled in neighbour/parameter audit RF Planning engineer technical skills: Knowledge of mobile networks architecture and protocols. Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (GSM, WCDMA, LTE) Operational experience in Huawei equipment (2G BSC / 3G RNC / 4G eNodeB) Logical approach to problem solving MapInfo Professional: MagMap boundary Planning as well as MagPerformance and UK Coastline polygon to produce detailed complex plans to support New Services. Support Testbed Design work needed for new platforms. Provide input in Statistical Tools such as Mycom to build any new reports and ownership of updating key KPI's for the network. Essential knowledge/skills: Proven RF Planning experience on Mobile network/s (2G, 3G, 4G & preferred 5G) Excellent working knowledge of Mobile Network Ericsson, NSN and/or Huawei network/s 3G & 4G single cell reparents Rebalance RNC's / sites reparents MapInfo Professional: MagMap boundary Planning aswell as & MagPerformance LAC,RAC,URA & TAC dimensioning and planning Mis-parent site planning RNC design & parameter Planning Hardware capacity, dimensioning & kit upgrades planning 5G New Radio (NR) design/planning Essential experience: Experience of producing and delivering Detailed RF Plans. At least 6 years of proven experience of 2G, 3G and 4G RAN planning on BSCs and RNC's products.
