Overview
Cloud Architect (Mobility Sector) Poole, Dorset £60,000 to £65,000 (plus benefits, bonuses, incentives, etc.) The Opportunity: Our client are leading the way in developing cloud-based solutions specific to the mobility and transportation sector; and are looking to attract talented engineers and architects to join their Smart Transport team based in Poole, Dorset. Skills and Experience: Familiar with cloud architecture solutions, delivering highly available, always-on and reliable products Previously involved with design and development of multi-tenant SaaS based systems that are secure and add value to their customers Container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, etc. DevOps tools, including AWS, Azure, along with CI/CD skills for development processes Industry qualifications, technical certifications and a strong educational background are preferred Role and Responsibilities: Working as part of a specialist team to design and deliver cloud-based solutions and to assist in driving through the adoption process across the whole business. Once developed, these solutions will be deployed into customers and will disrupt the current market as we know it and provide them with a distinct edge in their respective markets. In addition, you will be working closely with other internal teams to resolve any technical issues during the product development stages or after release and in providing a secure service around the company’s cloud privacy policies. The role will see you constantly challenged, learning new things and be able to really effect what is produced and delivered on behalf of your customers. Successful candidates will see their role increase in coverage, exposure and responsibilities quite quickly as they look to continually increase their customer base and market coverage.
