Overview
AJ Chambers are working with a 4 partner accountancy practice who are looking to hire an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior. The role split will be 75% account / 25% Audit and the successful applicant will will report the directly to the partner. Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of small to medium size businesses Provide accounting, tax and strategic planning advise to our clients to help them grow their businesses Preparation of client accounts. Standard Bookkeeping duties. Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. Provide advice and coaching to junior staff Prepare larger non-audit accounts (LLPs and limited companies) for review directly by a director Carry out ad hoc Audit tasks by themselves (e.g. stock counts, client money audits etc. Requirements Qualified ACA/ACCA or QBE Minimum of 4 years practice experience Well-rounded knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
