About the role Interserve Healthcare are looking for experienced support workers to support our client with Learning Disabilities/Autism in Harwich and surrounding areas. Your Role with be to support a young adult male with Autism to support his independence. You will be out in the community supporting with activities such as going to a farm, swimming, cinema, accompanying our client on holidays. (You will need to have a full clean driving license but access to your own vehicle is not essential) Shifts 07:00-22:00 Monday to Sunday (subject to change) Pay rate £9.71 - 14.55 per hour inclusive of Holiday pay We can offer you: Weekly pay Flexible working hours On-going FREE training and development opportunities Free Uniform In return, we’d like you to have: Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to commit to regular (flexible) hours 6 months experience working in care in the UK If you have any of the following experience, it will support your application – but even if you don’t we can still offer FREE training in all these areas: Tracheostomy care Ventilation care Medication management Catheter care Manual handling Spinal Injury ABI Epilepsy Experience of working with clients with complex care needs Interserve Healthcare is a leading care provider who puts care at the heart of everything we do.
