JOB TITLE: INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER DEPARTMENT: Internal Sales RESPONSIBLE TO: Sales Office Manager LEICESTER BASED £20,000 - £25,000 MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To act as the initial Technical Sales interface with customers in terms of enquiries, quotations, orders etc. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare accurate quotes specific to customers needs. • Deal effectively with customer enquiries. • Apply Company's products to meet customer requirements. • Provide technical support. • Liaise with External Sales. • Provide support to external sales by following up selected projects • Deal with Warranty issues and customer complaints. • Use selection software and Company IT. • Participate constructively in Sales Meetings. • Update customer's details onto Company records. • Deal with e-mail correspondence. • Deal with suppliers on factored products. • Liaise with the other Departments in the Company. • Handle telephone calls.
