Overview
DevOps Engineer (IoT Cloud) We are seeking a senior level DevOps Engineer to join a team building cloud based IoT monitoring technologies automating and improving safety and compliance in key sectors such as healthcare, research and education. Within the team you will take a lead role in the implementation and improvement of container tooling (using both Docker and Kubernetes), installing infrastructure as code methods across the engineering and ops team and, if desired, help grow the DevOps team throughout 2020. The tech environment is Python based, running on AWS, Terraform for IaC and Docker/Kubernetes for containerisation but a willingness to learn is valued as much as expertise in all areas. Skills required for the DevOps Engineer: Worked in a senior DevOps or Reliability Engineering position, preferably providing technical leadership and strategy Good knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tooling (open but preferably Terraform) Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) Scripting or development experience for automation would be beneficial but not essential DevOps Engineer (IoT Cloud) Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 plus flexible working hours and a day per week remote Location: Cambridge
