Overview

Aptum Technologies is looking for a temporary Application Analyst for our Cherwell Service Management (CSM) system. The position is for 9 to 12 months, is located at Aptum’s UK office in Southampton and reports to the Manager of IT Business Systems. As a member of our CSM Analyst team, you will share responsibility for ongoing CSM system administration, support, maintenance and enhancements. You will provide quality and timely application support to end users, maintain users and teams, system configurations, forms, dashboards and reports. When necessary, you will also engage with other IT experts, technical staff, and vendor or 3rd parties to resolve issues or problems and monitor/maintain scheduled jobs and system performance. You will also work with business stakeholders, and cross functional teams to develop, build and implement CSM functionality based on a thorough understanding of their business needs. You will develop CSM through the usage of blueprints, creating and managing business objects and system automation. Self-motivated, highly enthusiastic and influential amongst peers Must be a strong team player and comfortable in communicating with new people in other areas of the business with the aim of delivering the team’s objectives. Experience & Education Completion of post-secondary studies in a computer science or IT related discipline. Minimum 2 years experience with Cherwell or another IT Service Management system. Solid understanding of ITIL. Experience with T-SQL or writing query expressions/scripts. Experience with a report writer such as Crystal Reports or SSRS is a plus.
