Interim Financial Controller

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are working exclusively with a Charity to recruit an Interim Financial Controller with operations based in Weybridge. This business is an exciting, global Charity; they are looking for a hands-on, trusted finance professional who can look after the day-to-day finance function. Ideally, the right candidate needs to be immediately available. The Role The successful Interim Financial Controller will play a key role in the Leadership Team, overseeing the financial performance of the whole business while inputting into broader business strategy. Accountable for the delivery of financial management reporting on time and in agreed formats, for the Central operations Compliance with UK statutory financial reporting and taxation requirements, including completion of the financial statements, VAT and taxable staff benefits returns, provision of information to tax advisors for the preparation of the Corporation tax return and preparation of Board reports for the Board of Directors Compliance with US GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements with respect to group reporting Coordinating the preparation of the annual departmental and consolidated central budget and quarterly forecasts in accordance with the Group reporting timetable and advising the Executive Team on financial management of the overall central budget Providing finance inductions for staff and financial training for budget holders Maintain a strong financial control culture and standards of operation Management and development of the Central finance team of around five staff Your Profile The successful Interim Financial Controller needs to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and have a strong technical background, in a global organisation, gained through busy finance functions, motivating the team and overseeing a systems implementation. The Company This global organisation has exciting prospects over the next year and needs someone to commit to a 5 - 6 month assignment. They operate in countries global including Africa, Asia and the Americas and have their central function and stunning offices based in Surrey. Salary & Benefits £350 - £375 per day including on-site parking The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
