Overview
Position: Data Scientist (SC Cleared) Job Type: Contract Location: Leatherhead (split with Remote working) Rate: £525 p/day (Outside IR35 Description: Our client is looking for a Data Scientist to start with them on initial 3-month contract, ASAP. The position will be completely remote working initially but further down the line may begin to require the successful candidate to visit client sites in Leatherhead. The client has indicated that there is a strong likelihood that on successful completion of work, the contract could be extended in line with client requirements going forward. Ideally the successful candidate will have had experience of working in central government environments in a consultancy capacity, displaying excellent soft skills to complement a strong technical background in Data Science. Responsibilities: · Design specific analysis projects whilst generating and testing hypotheses with client · Collect and analyse data specific to the project · Conduct relevant analysis using appropriate tools, techniques with sound and clear supporting documentation. · Report to clients and stakeholders throughout the process through clear communication channels either written or verbally presented Skills: · Tableau or PowerBI (or similar tool) · Ideally experienced in working in cloud environments either in Azure, GCP or AWS · Ability to work with and liaise with C-suite level stakeholders · Strong with Python · SQL Modelling Due to the nature of the client, SC clearance is a necessity for this role This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89955107
