Microfabrication Technician - Life Sciences R&D - Cambridge An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced microfabrication technician to join to growing manufacturer of complex life science instrumentation. As a Microfabrication Technician, you will be utilising your prior experience to come up with novel solutions to complex scientific and engineering problems. This will involve working on multiple active projects and nanodevices and their processes throughout different design stages and the foundry. You will also be responsible for implementing new ideas within the cleanroom and will be working alongside world-class scientists and engineers to develop market-leading products for the life sciences market. Because of this, we are looking for people with a passion for solving complex scientific problems with a desire to continually develop as a scientist. You will be charged with running experiments, quality control, stock control as well as equipment calibration and the general running of the MEMS lab. To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have hands-on microfabrication experience coupled with a scientific or engineering related degree/HND. Wide-ranging MEMS process knowledge is also expected as well as experience with semiconductor equipment. We are open to candidates with two years of post-doc experience as well as commercially experienced technicians.
