Installation Engineer/ Field Service Engineer Crewe Starting £11 an hour, rising to £14 an hour after probation Lots of Overtime Company Pension Fuel Card Stay Away Allowance Installation Electrician required for a growing successful independent manufacturer. This is a new role due to growth and further contracts won. This is a great opportunity to work for a company offering full product training who still have that family feel. To apply for the role you must be a qualified electrical engineer holding a City and Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent. It is highly desirable if you also hold the 17th/18th edition although this is not essential. Full product training will be given so experience on pumps is NOT essential. Electrical ex forces applicants are encouraged to apply. First aid training, confined space training, manufacturing product training will all be given. The role will suit those who are happy to get involved with overtime. The base salary is for 39 hours a week, most of the installation engineers work 45 hours a week and stay away 1 to 2 nights a week. You are paid £20 per a night when staying away plus accommodation allowance. The role is installing, commissioning and servicing pumping equipment across the UK. You will work in a team of two and travel to the jobs across the UK, on average staying away 2 nights a week. The work is primarily on new build housing estates and existing pumping stations. When required you will also work at head office in Crewe building and testing machinery. The role will suit those looking for a really successful company that design, build and commission all their machinery. They truly look after their staff (staff turnover is very low), and can provide lots of in depth, specialist training. The role: Installing, servicing and commissioning pumping equipment Working across the UK, staying away 1 night a week. 5-15 hours a week overtime. Complete site reports after each visit. The Installation Engineer/ Field Service Engineer: Qualified electrical Engineer, NVQ level 2 or equivalent. Desirable to hold a 17th/18th edition but not essential.
