Internal Sales Engineer

If so this role is for you We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Sales Engineer to provide quotations against customer enquiries and then convert them to orders. Don’t worry if you don’t have the technical product knowledge, we care about the right attitude and behaviors more then experience itself and we have some real technical experts in the team who will help you. Role responsibilities will include: To read and fully understand customer requirements and the commercials terms stated in any enquiry that you’re assigned to quote. Source products globally from reliable manufacturers that meet the technical, delivery and country of origin specifications stipulated by customers. Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers that will allow you to submit competitive quotations against customer tenders or customer enquiries. To prepare quotations in a professional manner in accordance with customer requirements, company guidelines and customer deadlines – normally same day response. Proactively progress quotations with customers and / or our distributors to convert as much as possible to sales orders. Deal with customer complaints in a professional and effective manner to satisfactorily resolve any dissatisfaction by the customer in regards to products or services. Liaise with the shipping department to achieve the best freight rates and services available with forwarders to keep our service competitive at all times To succeed in the role we are searching for an organized, highly communicative individual with real, natural customer care attitude. As about 80% of our queries come through on email we ask that your are highly computer literate as you will be using our internal systems as well as Microsoft office suite.
