Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a AutoCAD Technician / Engineer with experience in Highways, Traffic and Transportation to join a client in London. Your main duties include designing and delivering a variety of highway and public realm related schemes including bus routes, cycling projects and pedestrian walkways / sustainable transport programmes. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £22 - £26 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Working within the Highways team your main duties include: - Using AutoCAD to design a range of highways, traffic and public realm schemes - Working in conjunction with the lead engineers and project managers to deliver the schemes on time and within budget - Developing concepts and feasibility studies for traffic and transport improvement related schemes - Ensuring all designs meet the standards and are compliant with the DMRB and the Manual for Streets and Local Authority Design Guides Previous experience in Civil Engineering is essential for this role.
